Iraq’s weekly oil exports to US drop to 216,000 barrels
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq’s weekly oil exports to the United States dropped last week.
The EIA mentioned that the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 10 major countries reached approximately 5.29 million barrels per day, representing a decrease of 348,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, when US oil imports reached 5.64 million barrels per day, Shafaq News reported.
Iraq’s oil exports to the United States reached 216,000 barrels per day last week, representing a decline of 21,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week, when Iraq exported 237,000 barrels per day to the US.
The EIA indicated that most of the United States imports of crude oil during the past week came from Canada at an average of 3.66 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with an average of 621,000 barrels per day, and Venezuela with an average of 250,000 barrels per day.
The United States imported an average of 150,000 barrels per day from Colombia, 145,000 barrels per day from Nigeria, 89,000 barrels per day from Libya, 88,000 barrels per day from Brazil, 67,000 barrels per day from Ecuador, and 13,000 barrels per day from Saudi Arabia.
